My husband passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. He studied hard while working, and we went to Los Angels to take test where takes six hours by car, it was very good he passed. Level 5 is beginning, but his Japanese is getting better and I'm glad that this time he got a tangible result.　

（When I asked my husband about the test, he said with quite confident "I think I'm ok, I think I will pass it." In fact, it was only one point above the passing score, he barely passed it. haha ）

My husband made a pork rib by slow cooker. The meat was tender and very delicious.

Yesterday I applied to open an E * TRADE Bank account. I got an email from them and my husband called and checked some things. (They said that there is no financial history information. I told them that I just immigrated.) I can open it after few documents check.

We did housework and grocery shopping today. Recently, sun has set late. If it gets dark early, I feel rushed, but as the days get longer, l feel I have more active time and happy.

Today we had dinner at my mother-in-law's house. Grandmother-in-law made wine chicken pasta my mother-in-law made Caesar salad and Tiramisu for deserts. They are really good at cooking and delicious.

I wanted to change the list of items in the Post model on the Django Admin page. I created a class in admin.py and tried to register the model, but I couldn't register. The cause was that registration was duplicated because the Post model had already been registered with Markdownx.

I want to use Markdownx, so I checked for other methods. There was a way to inherit and override the model by "proxy model".

There were other methods such as creating a custom template, but it was good that using proxy model was easy way.

I added comment section to blog. I also added Google reCAPTCHA security to prevent spam.

For previous versions of reCAPTCHA, It requires to check "Not a robot" or select the specific images to prove I am not a robot. The latest version, it doesn't require users to authorize. It checks user risk automatic from the server side.

I always mistake selecting images so I think it has become convenient.

• The downtown area was a bit hippie and homeless and felt little scared

• Tucson town seems a bit old

Summary

The University of Arizona is beautiful and the atmosphere is very good. The campus life seems to be enriching both study and friendship.

(Arizona State University in Tempe is a huge (70,000 student) campus feels like business and bit cold.)

However, Tucson is far away in the south, the town is a bit old and I heard they are lack water supply, and I felt the downtown area was a bit scary.

As a Japanese I think I would choose Arizona State University in Tempe in a big city. Larger cities are more convenient and feel safer, and there are many Asian shops.

If you're an American, you'd like The University of Arizona.

Today was my sister-in-law's birthday party. Many people were gathering, and there are some people for the first time meet. The lasagna and bread were great at the lasagna party. We baked banana bread and gave it with a gift card.

Today I organized blogs at Chandler Shopping Mall cafe area.

My first winter in Arizona. It's not that cold than I expected. The winter in Arizona does not get as cold as in Tokyo. It's more like winter in Okinawa. However, it is cold in the morning and evening due to the desert climate.

Jackets or sweaters is fine. I've never seen people wearing a long coat so far.

There are quite a few people wearing T-shirts during the day. ( I can't do it it's too chilly. )

Last time, we made pot roast with a slow cooker. This time, we made Chicken Enchilada. This is also all done in the evening after putting ingredients in the morning. I put guacamole, sour cream on tortillas (thin bread made of corn flour and flour), and put simmered chicken and vegetables and roll up. It was delicious.

We started to make dinner using slow cooker from this week. Just put the ingredients in the slow cooker in morning and it's ready when you return home in the evening. It's easy convenient and delicious.

It's been long to speak in Japanese face to face, it was nice and relaxing.

I had dinner at a restaurant called "House of Tricks" in Tempe (near ASU).

The atmosphere and food were great. ( We had Korean rib for appetizer. For main, I had grilled salmon, my husband had today's special lobster soup. )

We sat terrace seat. There was a heater so it was warm. Cat ( I guess restaurant owns ) was walking and cute. He looked like my cat in Japan. He was staring at me wants to eat my salmon.

Today was my first regular health checkup since I am in States. It became a terrible day. To put it simply, the doctor at the checkup was unfriendly, not professional attitude, and the service was poor. My husband came to the room halfway, he was also surprised by the doctor's attitude. On the way home, I complained to my husband that was too much unreasonable. My husband suggested that go back and talked to her. We went back and talked and we reconciled with each other.

Yesterday, we had drinks at French restaurant near house, and ate hamburgers and french fries at a sports bar( It is said that if you eat fatty foods before the new year, you can leave guilty this year, ), played billiards, counted down at a music bar. I had drink too much and got a hangover. I got headache and nausea. I liked to drink cocktail recently, but the alcohol degree is strong, so I will choose White Claw next time.
